Superwow Gallery presents an international group exhibition celebrating the visual spectacle and enduring influence of Lucha Libre, guest curated by Australian artist Chris Things.
The exhibition brings together a diverse group of Australian and international artists, with several international artists exhibiting their work in Australia for the very first time. Together, the works explore the distinctive visual language and cultural influence of Mexican wrestling and Lucha Libre.
Alongside the exhibition, we have foosball, table tennis, great tunes, and a SPECIAL SURPRISE WRESTLING MATCH!
Featuring a selection of brand-new original artworks by Chris Things, alongside works from an exciting group of Australian and international artists.

Audiences are invited to move through a series of encounters that are immersive, unexpected, and socially charged.

    Social Sculptures brings emerging artists into the heart of the Cultural Precinct, intervening in public space, revealing its capacity for connection, exchange, and wonder.
