Most of the music played will have an animal connection, from the more obvious songs about animals, to animals in lyrics, song title, band/artist name, to more obscure animal connections like an animal in the cover art,  music video or album label.  There'll often be some light-hearted talk about animals and pets. Sometimes there'll be interviews with guests and we'll talk about music, art and animals.

    Simon Hales films and documents wildlife as a side-project / hobby of sorts. Simon has been filming and posting stuff online since 2020, originally on YouTube, but since 2023, primarily just on Instagram @friendsofthefloof These days Simon mostly just films and documents one specific family of Bush Stone-Curlews in a Brisbane park. He usually drops by at least once each day to make sure they’re all alive and well.
