Groups of people that make music that appeal immensely to Ellen include Skinny Jean, The Boat People, British India, Foals and The Hives, to name but a few. She is also quite partial to garage pop, math rock and most things of the indie rock persuasion.

Like many from her generation, Ellen's appreciation of jazz has forever been tainted by The Mighty Boosh.

Ava can be persuaded to like a lot of different things, which mostly comes down to the individual tracks moreso than any specific genre. That being said, my current obsession is surf rock and anything in the indie rock/pop/garage/cabaret area is probably a safe bet here! 

 Ava is also mildly obsessed with musical theatre, musical comedy and anything that's a little bit quirky.
